Severe weather is probable in Southeast Louisiana into Mississippi and Alabama Thursday into Thursday night. Main risks are damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Excessive rainfall is also expected due to this cold front passing through.

Alright, who ordered shear?
Jonny Glessner 02-Jan-20 10:12 AM
While hodographs look nice, I don't expect this system to produce isolated pre-frontal storms to take advantage of the shear
At best, embedded cells within a squall are more likely
If anything can remain isolated before the line, that'll be the best chance
