Its on the way home, so I will probably hang out around Waco/Austin and see what there is to see.

If there’s a thunderstorm nearby I’ll check it out
I’ll have to find a way to slip out of the office quietly

I'm likely going to target the dryline event on the NM/TX border, mostly because I'm in Santa Rosa right now and don't want to drive all the way to DFW and then back up to the Central/High plains for this Friday and onward. Obviously not the most amazing set-up, but it'll give me a chance to fiddle with my camera settings and whatnot and get my feet wet on my first chase day of the season.

I am debating on staying in Lubbock another day. Chasing DFW does not sound like fun especially when you add in flooding rains on top of that.

Another option is start north for Thursday. Leisurely two day drive > one day rush reposition.

SREF has 2 targets today. the dryline north of lubbock, or .....san antonio? what?
oh i see it now. there is still remnant jet over south texas. pulling some shear at least. i wonder if the cape can recover after this morning
oohhh. hRRR confirms. SA up to austin, and northwest for about 80 miles. supercells this afternoon after the rebound. Target possible in Burnet to Llano area

If a wejj happens in the panhandle, and there's not 500 influencers around to live stream it, did it really happen?

@NWSAmarillo My dashcam and phone say 13:33. I do have video from dashcam. I was looking to the East and little south there. On E0120 Road. Maybe 2-3 miles?..
